- One that seeks: a seeker of the truth.
Seekers are given a course in basic principles of the Wiccan religion and beliefs. No commitment need be made at this time. It is a time for you to decide if they wish to study the Wiccan path and working with a group is an appropriate fit.
After completion of the classes, a written test is given. Students must pass the test with a grade of 80 or higher if they wish a Pagan Dedication within the group. Once the test is passed the student must submit a paper discussing the magickal name they wish to take and why.
Once the seeker and Blue Lotus Grove makes the decision as to whether the Seeker will continue to study with the Grove, they may take a Pagan Dedication. This is not a binding initiation, rather a ritual acknowledgment of their accomplishments and for some, an agreement that the person wishes to continue to study and that we agree to teach them for a period of time.
